VIA CRUCIS

The King rises today, the Queen at his side. Now they are both going to give us a unique demonstration of their love. They will toil and work to make disappear all the sketches, the preliminary drawings, the all imperfect images which, however, attracted the past centuries but which could not give this more complete redemption.

The King and the Queen will therefore, first of all, strip their human nature of the privileges which attached to their nature, would prevent them in their demonstration, from convincing us of reality. They show us by this exposition what man is: a monster, a being wounded to death, a giant plague, a purulent abscess.

To convince us of this, the King is making of himself, an open and visible abscess that everyone can see. He made himself public sins of people and nations. The Queen becomes a hidden abscess, a hidden sore wound, reaching all the internal organs of intelligence and will: ecce Homo.

This manifestation of our nature is not for our condemnation but for our healing. It was in their wounds that we were healed. It is in these wounds pouring out their salvific remedy that we will find our happiness. Let’s hide in these wounds.

Then everything speaks to us in the path they will travel. The bloody steps of their wanderings, teach us that our road will be long and painful, that on the way we will have no one to console us, that fear will shake our bowels, that the world will hate us and will want our death ...

Finally, they show us by the culmination of their labor, that we will have no reason to go back and escape the death of our human nature because on the way we will see and we will walk with the Queen, with the Immaculate. She will be our Veronica, our true image, the one we will conquer with Christ.
