MILITIA IMMACULATAE

Mary entwined her Immaculate soul in the nets of the Most High in order to free us from the rough sea of the world and to captivate us in Her, like those 153 big fishes that Saint Peter received from the hands of Jesus Christ during the miraculous fishing.  Today, more than ever, these fishes find themselves confined in fishing nets, but will it be for a holiest life or an eternal death? today is the day of salvation.  The Virgin invites us to withdraw into ourselves for a deeper, more intimate, and uninterrupted contact with this supreme virtue of confidence and abandonment which is the special grace of Easter. After the Resurrection of our Good Shepherd, the sheep often feed on the fat pastures of their Shepherd without knowing how to continue the Lenten efforts and sometimes even wondering if it is necessary to continue them… because after all, this n is no longer Lent! this is how the herd descends again into the ravine and intertwines its coat in thorns and brambles. For so long the sins of peoples and nations have accumulated at the feet of idols in the high places. For so many centuries the saints have wept to see the glory of God restored, the venerated Virgin Mary and the Name of Jesus engraved and loved in all hearts.
